The Defense Technology Symposium (DTS) is hosted by Senator Richard Burr, Senator Thom Tillis, Fayetteville Technical Community College, the North Carolina Military Business Center, the North Carolina Defense Technology Transition Office and the North Carolina Board of Science, Technology & Innovation. This event is funded in part by the U.S. Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration and the Manufacturing Solutions Center at Catawba Valley Community College.
The DTS is held in conjunction with the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) Warfighter Summit and Exposition on July 27-28 in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

The Defense Technology Symposium (DTS) will highlight the advanced technology needs of the Department of Defense (DoD) and the correlating capabilities of the innovation ecosystem in North Carolina and the southeast. The DTS will establish a dialogue and partnerships between industry, academia and government to address the future technology needs of America’s warfighters.
